A full business dashboard for a fictional Huddersfield barbershop — customers, bookings, revenue — built to show what running software for a real business actually looks like, not just a website for one.
Problem
Anyone can show a mockup. Few show a business running
Most studio portfolios show marketing sites — clean, but they don't prove a studio can build the software a business actually runs on day to day: the tool that tracks who's coming in, what they're spending, and who's quietly stopped showing up.
We wanted a piece that a prospect could click into and immediately understand: this isn't a template with fake stats bolted on — it's a real operational dashboard, generated fresh, that behaves like one.
Approach
One dataset, one shop, no lorem ipsum
Fade & Co is a fictional independent barbershop. Every visit, you get a fresh, internally consistent dataset for it — 16 to 20 customers with real names, services, spend, and a generated visit history, all seeded from one session. Bookings, revenue charts, and customer status are all derived from those visit histories, not invented separately — a customer's last visit date is identical wherever it appears, and every chart sums from real rows.
The dashboard covers Overview, Customers, Bookings, and Revenue — the everyday view of a small business. Sat inside it isRECLAIM., an AI win-back module: a live "drift map" plots every customer from active through to lost, and aDraft win-back button calls an AI model server-side with that customer's actual visit history, so the message it writes references something real — a month, a usual day, a usual service — instead of reading like a template.
