NOWT.
A pre-launch brand site for a West Yorkshire flavoured-water startup, built to convert early interest into a waitlist.
Problem
A strong idea with nothing to show for it yet
NOWT. is a new lightly-flavoured spring water brand launching in West Yorkshire — no sugar, no sweeteners, no caffeine. Before a single bottle hits a shop shelf, the brand needed a site that could carry the idea on its own: explain what NOWT. is, why it's different, and capture a waitlist of early drinkers ahead of launch.
The name is Yorkshire dialect for "nothing" — the whole site had to earn that honesty rather than just stating it, without tipping into gimmick.
Approach
Let the product do the talking
We built a single-page brand site structured around the questions a first-time visitor actually has: what it is, what it tastes like, why it exists, and how to get in early. Product photography does the heavy lifting, with the copy kept short, plain-spoken, and consistently on-brand with the "nowt to hide" tone.
The waitlist form was the one job the site had to get right: fast to fill in, clear about what happens next, with no unnecessary fields between a visitor and the "Go on then" button.
Result
A pre-launch site ready to build a waitlist
The site is live ahead of NOWT.'s local launch across gyms, cafés, and shops in Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds, and Wakefield — giving the brand somewhere to send people from day one, before the first bottle is stocked anywhere.
